Welcome to Cabonne Council
Cabonne Country, "Australia's Food Basket" is a rich rural shire in central west NSW, covering the towns of Canowindra, Cargo, Cudal, Cumnock, Eugowra, Manildra, Molong and Yeoval. The area is home to the site of Australia's first gold rush and is famous for ballooning, food and wine, agriculture and mining.
Local Government Elections will be held on Saturday 13 September 2008. Cabonne will be holding a Pre-Election Information Night for potential candidates at 5pm on 15 July 2008 at the Council Chambers, Bank Street, Molong.
